Wend Labs

Small apps, made in Idaho.

Wend Labs LLC builds everyday tools for your phone — a workout you can do on your own street, a breathing pacer, a journal, a driving test you have to pass. Four apps, no ads, and nothing that follows you around.

Four apps in development for iOS and Android.

Apps

What we're building

Each app does one thing, works the first time you open it, and keeps as much of your data on your phone as it possibly can. None of them are published yet — they're listed here as they are, not as we'd like them to be.

City Workouts

Your city is your gym

GPS-guided outdoor workout courses built on real city infrastructure — stairs, benches, hills, parks. Free to run, fun to create. Launching first in Boise, Sun Valley and Hailey.

Gem State Driving Prep

Practice for the Idaho Class D knowledge test — 113 study questions drawn from the complete Idaho Driver's Handbook, with a progress map by topic.

Not affiliated with the Idaho Transportation Department. Questions are paraphrased study material, not official test items.

Breathing Lab

A breathing pacer with six techniques — box breathing, 4–7–8, the physiological sigh, humming exhale, sitali and alternate-nostril — and five visual guides to follow along with.

In development
One Good Thing app icon: two polaroid photos, the front one showing a heart.

One Good Thing

A private daily journal: one photo, one sentence about why it mattered. Everything lives in the app's private storage on your phone, and you can export the whole thing whenever you like.

Company

About Wend Labs

Wend Labs LLC is an Idaho limited liability company, based in Hailey and formed in 2026 to build and publish mobile applications. It's a small operation — a single founder doing the design, the engineering and the support — and we'd rather say that plainly than write in the voice of a company ten times the size.

The company exists to hold the work properly: one publisher of record, one place the apps, the accounts and the responsibility live.

How we work

A few decisions were made once, at the start, and they apply to everything we publish. They're easy to promise and harder to hold to once an app has users, so they're written down here where you can hold us to them.

01

No ads

No advertising and no advertising SDKs in any of our apps. What revenue there is comes from people paying for the product, which keeps our incentives pointed the same direction as theirs.

02

No third-party tracking

We don't embed third-party analytics or tracking libraries. Where an app can work entirely on your device, it does — One Good Thing never uploads a photo, and Breathing Lab and Gem State Driving Prep don't need an account at all.

03

Your data, deletable

Any app of ours that holds an account ships with deletion built in, plus a public web form that does the same thing — so leaving never requires asking us for permission.
